The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to The Clay Blueprints. The Clay Blueprints operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, digital products, downloads, and services offered through the website (collectively, the “Services”).
The Clay Blueprints is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”), together with any policies referenced herein, describe your rights and responsibilities when accessing or using our Services.
Please read these Terms carefully. They contain important information regarding your legal rights, digital product licensing, intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
By visiting, interacting with, purchasing from, downloading from, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy [LINK].
If you do not agree to these Terms or our Privacy Policy, you should not access or use our Services.

The appearance of a finished pottery piece will depend on many factors outside our control, including clay type, clay moisture, shrinkage rate, construction technique, firing method, glaze, kiln conditions, printing accuracy, scaling, craftsmanship, and individual interpretation.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, physical pottery pieces, clay, tools, printers, kilns, glazes, materials, tablets, binders, books, props, and other physical items shown in product images are not included with the purchase of a digital product.
Product descriptions, included files, bonuses, collections, and availability may be modified, updated, replaced, or discontinued at any time at our discretion.
SECTION 3 – ORDERS AND DIGITAL PURCHASES
When you place an order with The Clay Blueprints, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product.
We reserve the right to accept, reject, limit, or cancel an order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, payment issues, pricing errors, unauthorized resale, abuse, or violation of these Terms.
Your order is considered accepted once payment has been successfully processed and an order confirmation or product-access instruction has been issued.
Please carefully review your order before purchasing.
Because our products are primarily digital and may become accessible immediately after purchase, cancellation may not be possible once a download, access link, delivery email, or digital product has been issued.
Purchases are subject to our Refund Policy [LINK].
Your purchase grants you only the rights expressly described on the relevant product page, within these Terms, or within any license supplied with your purchase.
Purchasing a digital product does not transfer ownership of its underlying copyright or intellectual property to you.
SECTION 4 – PRICES, PAYMENTS AND BILLING

The price charged will generally be the price displayed at checkout at the time your order is placed.
Depending on your location, taxes, VAT, duties, currency conversion charges, card-provider fees, or other applicable charges may apply.
We may display prices in different currencies through third-party currency conversion tools. Converted prices may vary slightly due to exchange-rate changes or payment-provider conversion rates.

SECTION 7 – COMMERCIAL MAKER LICENSE
Certain products may include or be sold with a Commercial Maker License.
Where a Commercial Maker License is included, you may use eligible templates to create finished, physical pottery pieces for sale, subject to the terms of that license.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, a Commercial Maker License applies to finished physical pottery created by you.
It does not permit you to sell, share, distribute, sublicense, upload, reproduce, or otherwise provide the underlying templates, blueprint files, PDF files, measurements, diagrams, or digital resources to another person.
For clarity, a Commercial Maker License may allow you to:
-
Make pottery using eligible templates;
-
Sell finished physical pottery made using those templates;
-
Use the templates repeatedly within the limits of the applicable license.
It does not allow you to:
-
Sell the template itself;
-
Sell printed copies of the template;
-
Sell digital copies of the template;
-
Share files with employees, contractors, students, customers, other makers, or businesses unless the applicable license expressly permits it;

-
Represent The Clay Blueprints' intellectual property as your own.
Where a separate Commercial Maker License document is supplied with a product, the terms of that license will apply in addition to these Terms.
If there is a direct conflict between this section and the specific Commercial Maker License supplied with a product, the specific Commercial Maker License will govern with respect to that licensed use.
SECTION 8 – PRINTING, SCALING AND POTTERY RESULTS
Certain products are designed to be printed at a specific scale, including templates marked as 1:1 or full size.
Customers are responsible for checking printer settings before use.
Printer settings such as “Fit to Page,” “Shrink to Fit,” automatic scaling, margins, paper size, or printer-driver settings may alter template dimensions.
Where a template contains a scale reference or measurement guide, you should verify it before cutting clay.
Any shrinkage percentages, measurements, fit allowances, dimensions, lid tolerances, or other calculations supplied through our products are intended as practical design aids.
Actual ceramic results may vary.
Clay shrinkage differs between clay bodies and can also be affected by firing temperature, construction, moisture content, compression, kiln conditions, glaze, and other variables.
You are responsible for testing measurements and shrinkage for your specific clay and production process before producing finished work commercially or in significant quantities.
SECTION 9 – THIRD-PARTY TOOLS
We may provide access to third-party tools or services as part of the Services, including payment providers, download providers, file-hosting services, currency converters, review platforms, analytics tools, and cloud-storage services.
We do not control all aspects of these third-party services.
Access to third-party tools may be provided “as is” and “as available.”
Your use of third-party tools may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third parties.
We shall not be responsible for losses arising solely from a third-party service outside our reasonable control.
SECTION 10 – THIRD-PARTY LINKS
Our Services may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties.
This may include links used to provide downloads, cloud-hosted files, payment services, software, or other resources.
We do not necessarily control or endorse third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, practices, or accuracy.
If you access a third-party website, you do so at your own discretion.
Please review the applicable third party's terms and privacy practices before using their services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Our templates, guides, planners, firing logs, and educational resources are not substitutes for professional safety instruction, equipment manuals, manufacturer guidance, or appropriate studio supervision.
You are responsible for safely using clay, tools, kilns, glazes, chemicals, and other materials.
Always follow the instructions provided by manufacturers of your clay, glaze, kiln, tools, and studio equipment.

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other right.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, applicable Commercial Maker License, and any other policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement governing your use of the Services.
If a specific product license contains additional terms, those additional terms will also apply to that product.
SECTION 24 – ASSIGNMENT
You may not transfer, assign, sublicense, or delegate your rights under these Terms or a product license without our prior written consent.
We may transfer or assign our rights and obligations under these Terms as part of a business transfer, restructuring, acquisition, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.
